About Captain John A. Miller:
John is a USCG MM Master 100T with 45+ years on the water spanning most of the United States coast, inland lakes, and waterways. He has completed most of the available ASA sailing courses and is a Certified ASA instructor. Over the past 4 years, he has organized, conducted, and instructed many US Sailing Safety at Sea Seminars in SoCal certifying over 800 sailors, cruisers, racers as well as powerboaters. John has recently been nominated to become a US Sailing Safety at Sea Moderator and is proud to work with some of the best sailors on the West Coast to deliver the best attended and highest rated safety programs; Bruce Brown, John Jourdane, Peter Isler and Keith Kilpatrick to name a few. More recently, John was asked to become the Safety Seminar Committee Chair for SCYA. He is a proud member of OYC and Transpacific Yacht Clubs.
